God is showing me not only to make haste in honoring and praising him but to be sure i pay attention to what He is commanding me and to do -- what He says and how He says to do it. Don't mix in my 2 cents or thoughts and actions on how I think it should be done. Do it the way He says do it! Watch yourself!!! Don't be in covenant with sin nor sinners. Why the warning. Because even in doing the work of God i can slip. 8 Moses made haste to bow low toward the earth and worship. 11 "Be sure to observe what I am commanding you this day: Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, or it will become a snare in your midst. … Expand

How many times do we automatically do things out of habit and and training? Examples: driving a car, duties at work, eating, handling finances, taking care of our families, communicating, and doing our projects and hobbies. We do all these things and more without asking for God's help. We do it on our own worldly knowledge/training. In Ex. 31:3-4 it reads: 3 "I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, ... God is saying to us---ask Me for wisdom, ask Me for understanding and ask for Me knowledge in all things and I will give you My Spirit to accomplish it. We meed God's Spirit dai … Expand

Would my sermons and prayers be different? Would my worship be different? Would my counsel be different? Would my work ethics be different? 20 "You shall slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear and on the lobes of his sons' right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet, and sprinkle the rest of the blood around on the altar. The ear lobe stood for the ear: hearing the word of God The thumb stood for the hand: doing the work of God The toe stood for the foot: walking in the way of God This ceremony was teaching them that to be priests in God’s house they had to be careful to listen to God, use their hands in his service, and walk in his ways. Being a priest was a whole lifestyle, it was not just a 9–5 job. Whenever they used their ears, hands and feet, they were to use them for God. … Expand

We always want our prayers and blessings to be completely full and answered. But check this out: 30 "I will drive them out before you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land. Sometimes we are not prepared mentally, physically, and (or) Spiritually to handled the full blessing or prayer completely answered. God may answer little by little until we grow and mature to handle the complete answer He is giving In James chapter 1: 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. … Expand

This is how you select others to do the work: 21 "Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens. 22 "Let them judge the people at all times; and let it be that every major dispute they will bring to you, but every minor dispute they themselves will judge. We as leaders, teachers, pastors, evangelist, etc. are responsible to do this. Then we are to choose those we have taught and put them in positions and let them operate in the will of God.
