Do you see how a righteous man can influence the unsaved by the way he lives for God? 2 Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel. 3 Now forty days were required for it, for such is the period required for embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days. They wept for him for 70 days … Expand

Do not fret because you are the youngest. God has a blessing for you... 19 But his father refused and said, "I know, my son, I know; he also will become a people and he also will be great. However, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations." … Expand

God will be your Shepherd. One who cares, protects, blesses, and comforts you. Jacob states this when he says: 15 He blessed Joseph, and said, "The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day, 16 The angel who has redeemed me from all evil … Expand

all the persons of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy. Where there is famine...there is no fruitfulness. There were on 70 people left in Joseph family. Sin and unrepentance causes famine in every part of your life. Nothing works properly naturally and spiritually. But when you get repent and go back to God. Life becomes fruitful again. Nothing can love, live, or be without God. 27 Now Israel lived in the land of Egypt, in Goshen, and they acquired property in it and were fruitful and became very numerous. They became very fruitful and numerous in the will of God. I must ask myself "does my life show fruitfulness or are there any barren places because I have allowed famine (a spirit) in?" … Expand

12 The sons of Judah: Er and Onan and Shelah and Perez and Zerah (but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. Er and Onan were very evil in the sight of the Lord and God killed them. God did not leave evil in the most of His children. It is only by the grace and Blood of Jesus Christ that many of us have been given a chance to do what is right in The Eyes of the Lord. … Expand

We live in Egypt. Egypt refers to the land of sin. Where ever you live and there is sin in the land it is a Egypt. God says although you are in a land of sin I Am with you. Just because you live in the place of sin it does not give you permission to live and be a slave to sin. You are a holy people of God. You are to live and speak and your actions are to be of holiness. We are a great nation 2 God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, "Jacob, Jacob." And he said, "Here I am." 3 He said, "I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there. 4 "I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will close your eyes." … Expand

Testimony revives the weary and broken soul and spirit. Give your testimony of how God has brought you through. 27 When they told him all the words of Joseph that he had spoken to them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of their father Jacob revived. … Expand
