And they crucified Him, and adivided up His garments among themselves, casting lots for them to decide what each man should take.

They crucified two robbers with Him, one on His right and one on His left.

[And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with transgressors."]

Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, awagging their heads, and saying, "Ha! You who are going to bdestroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

save Yourself, and come down from the cross!"

In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking Him among themselves and saying, "aHe saved others; He cannot save Himself.

"Let this Christ, athe King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!" bThose who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.
Luke 23

aWhen they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.

But Jesus was saying, "aFather, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." bAnd they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.

And the people stood by, looking on. And even the arulers were sneering at Him, saying, "He saved others; blet Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One."

aOne of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the Christ? bSave Yourself and us!"

But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?

"And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."

And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"
John 19

aThey took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bbearing His own cross, to the place called cthe Place of a Skull, which is called din Hebrew, Golgotha.

Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written, "aJESUS THE NAZARENE, bTHE KING OF THE JEWS."

Therefore many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written ain Hebrew, Latin and in Greek.

So the chief priests of the Jews were saying to Pilate, "Do not write, 'aThe King of the Jews'; but that He said, 'I am aKing of the Jews.'"
