Are all the promises meant for us today? Promises are still for us. Who has to right to claim a promise from God? No, only believers can claim a promise. The unbeliever can only claim the promise of how to be saved. Psa. Promises on how to live out our lives. God loves us unconditionally. He teaches, loves, and never forsakes us. When does a promise to claim? 1. Believing a promise of God belong to me. When the promise meets a personal need by Gods promise to give me directions. 2. Vs 19-22 Jesus is into growing disciples. Not interested in building a mega church. Count the cost in following Jesus.. We come to just follow Jesus. Placing our trust in him for everything we need. He promises us eternal life. Luke9:23-24 give up yourself and follow him and he is all we need. Follow Jesus today not later. 1tim:5:8 priority first, but Jesus first 1tim2:4 put Jesus first because he wants to be the one we follow first and he will control the other stuff in out lives. Vs.13-14 wide gate that leads to a wide path. There is always a destination on the path, wide and broad leads to hell and death. Jesus says, the road is narrow and it leads to eternal life. Our vital fath. Vs.16if we could find a tomb with Jesus we would still be sinners The hope is rock solid. He is who he says he is. Romans vs.1:1-4 proof of who he is. Vs. 25 50% of Americans are stress about providing for their families. Our Heavenly Father takes care of us. Matt. 10:29-31 we are far more valuable to God than a sparrow. Jere.8:7 the birds understand it, do I get it. Vs.28 no worries about what we wear. Not our outward aopearance. How we impress others as to what we look like or wear.
