So, even after the millennium there will still be nations with kings. Everyone will receive a reward according to his work. This is separate from salvation which comes by grace through faith. But, at the same time, God recognizes work and rewards it. … Expand

wrote a note on Ephesians 2:20 KJV
Earlier verses in this chapter spell out how there are no longer distinctions between groups of people when it comes to faith in Christ, which leads up to this verse that says it's "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets..." This ties in with Revelation 21:14 concerning the holy Jerusalem, "And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 21:9 KJV
This verse says, "I will SHEW thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife." The next verse says, "SHEWED me that great city, the holy Jerusalem" which makes "the holy Jerusalem" the Lamb's wife. In Revelation 19:7-8, the Lamb's wife is defined as the saints arrayed in fine linen. Putting these two definitions together makes "the holy Jerusalem" to be the saints arrayed in fine linen, which makes the rest of the chapter interesting to think about. … Expand

The battle of Gog and Magog takes place after the millennium. The only other time Gog and Magog are mentioned is in Ezekiel 38 and 39. So, the Gog and Magog events in Ezekiel are being fulfilled here in Revelation 20, after the millennium. … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 20:4 KJV
The next verse says, "This is the first resurrection." This verse says that they "which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads..." are a part of this resurrection. Therefore, the FIRST resurrection (rapture) must take place AFTER the mark of the beast, which happens during the tribulation. (This is contrary to the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine.) However, the first resurrection does take place before the wrath of the trumpet and vial judgements. So, it takes place AFTER the tribulation but BEFORE the wrath. … Expand

See 2 Timothy 2:16-18 about two people who taught that the first resurrection had already happened: "But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some." … Expand

wrote a note on 1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV
Christ was resurrected a few days after his crucifixion. Then, there are two other resurrections with an order in people being resurrected. First, they that are Christ's at his coming followed by we which are alive and remain. Second, at the end of the millennium, Christians who are born/saved after the rapture. … Expand

"After these things" alludes back to the judgments against apostate Christianity and Babylon. It also shows that this chapter takes place after the seventh trumpet.
