This ties in with Revelation 13 and the second beast performing signs and lying wonders for the first beast, the Antichrist.

wrote a note on Revelation 13:5 KJV
The Antichrist's 42 month reign is the last half of Daniel's 70th week leading up to Armageddon. This is made clear in Revelation 16:10, "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast..." where the vial judgements come at the end of the week and the beast is in power. … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 13:3 KJV
For all the world to wonder, it would probably have to be an actual death from the wound. Otherwise, all the world wondering would be hyperbole. This event might also tie in with Revelation 11:7, "...the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit..." and Revelation 17:8, "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition..." (where "is not" means dead) … Expand

Compare with Daniel 7:21, " I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them."

The little horn speaking great things... sounds familiar. See Revelation 13:5,6.

These represent four world empires: 1. Babylon 2. Medo-Persia 3. Greek 4. Roman

wrote a note on Revelation 13:2 KJV
Compare with Daniel 7:2-7. In Daniel, there are four separate beasts which represent four kingdoms. Here there's one beast but the same animals are mentioned.

Compare with Revelation 13:7, "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them..."

wrote a note on Revelation 16:10 KJV
At the fifth vial it says that the Antichrist's kingdom was full of darkness. However, at the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15 it says, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ..." This only makes sense if the fifth vial occurs before the seventh trumpet which can take place if the trumpet judgements and the vial judgements occur concurrently, even though they're written separately. … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 11:19 KJV
Revelation 9:2, "And he opened the bottomless pit..." There's no mention of it closing until Revelation 20:3, "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up..." Here we get "And the temple of God was opened in heaven..." So, the bottomless pit is opened, the temple of God is opened and earth is in between. … Expand

wrote a note on Luke 21:28 KJV
Luke 12:20-28 is describing the great tribulation, which lasts 75 days. According to verse 20, it starts "when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh." Then, in verse 27 the second coming of Jesus, "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 11:2 KJV
Luke 21:21-24 describes this time frame in more detail. Concerning Judaea, in Luke 21:22 "For these be the days of vengeance" and in Luke 21:23 "for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people" and more specifically in Luke 21:24 "and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 11:15 KJV
Compare "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord" to Revelation 10:7 which says, "the mystery of God should be finished...". Both places are referring to the seventh angel sounding. Also, the verb "are become" is immediate past tense, meaning that it happened just now. Furthermore, this verse is indicating that this is the moment that the millennial reign of Christ begins. It's only chapter 11 so the rest of Revelation is a retelling of the story. … Expand

wrote a note on Revelation 10:7 KJV
Romans 11:25-27 defines the mystery as "that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." Also, Revelation 11:2 mentions the Gentiles in the holy city for 42 months. That would put the seventh angel sounding (Revelation 11:15) about 30 days from the end of Daniel's 70th week. … Expand

wrote a note on Daniel 12:11 KJV
There are two ways to read this. One is that there are 1,290 days from when the daily sacrifice is taken away until the abomination of desolation is set up. The other is that the daily sacrifice is taken away on the same day that the abomination of desolation is set up and then there are 1,290 days until the end that's mentioned in verses 6, 7 and 8. … Expand

wrote a note on Daniel 12:5 KJV
Compare Daniel 12:5-7 to Revelation 10:5-7. In Daniel, the angel on Daniel's side of the river asks "How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" to the man clothed in linen who says "...it shall be for a time, times, and an half... all these things shall be finished." In Revelation, "...the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth... that there should be time no longer... the mystery of God should be finished..." This seems to be the same scene from different times and different perspectives with the 3 1/2 year period of God's wrath thrown in to really perplex things. … Expand
